----------------------------------------------------------------
The contract for solid waste removal with Gold Medal Environmental expired on January 28, 2021. After receiving and reviewing bids for Solid Waste Removal, the Township awarded a three (3) year contract for trash collection to Republic Services at the January 5th Township Council meeting.
Republic Services was the lowest responsible bidder and currently collects solid waste in several other Burlington County towns. Republic Services is currently working on the logistics of collections and began collecting residents’ trash on January 29th. Township Officials have met with representatives from Republic and expects a smooth transition from the current provider.

As Medford is a large community with a lot of small and narrow streets, we ask for your patience as they learn the routes and work to provide the best possible service to our residents.
Residents who have questions about trash collection may also call the Department of Neighborhood Services at 609-654-6791.
