Pleased be advised that "The Moving Wall" Vietnam
Veterans Memorial
will be displayed 24 hours per day. On-site parking will be limited to disabled
and "seasoned" senior citizens. The picnic pavilions will be closed
to the general public. Due to the solemn nature of this event, other activities
in the park will require appropriate respectful conduct. Those visiting the
dog run should use the Gill Road entrance, located just off of Allen Avenue.
Visitors for any of the daily ceremonies should bring chairs and/or blankets
for seating.
In the event of inclement weather, the Opening Ceremony
scheduled for Wednesday, June 14th at 7:00 pm and the Closing Ceremony scheduled
for Sunday, June 18th at 4:00 pm will be held at Fellowship Alliance Chapel,
located at 199 Church Road (just off of Medford-Mt. Holly Road/Route 541).
For an update on the location, call 609-654-2512 by
6:00 pm for a recorded message. Ceremonies scheduled for Thursday, Friday
and Saturday evenings at 7:00 pm will be cancelled in the event of rain.
