RESOLUTION 8-2012
AUTHORIZING REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE TAX
OR UTILITY PAYMENTS OR OVERPAYMENTS
WHEREAS, the
Township periodically receives duplicate payment of taxes or utility bills, or
receives an overpayment of said bills.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE
IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Medford, that the
Township Manager or his designee is authorized to grant refunds for said
duplicate tax or utility payments or overpayments, provided that the collecting
official certifies that a duplicate payment or overpayment has been made, and
that the refund is requested by the actual record owner of the property.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of
a Resolution adopted by the Township
