RESOLUTION 67-2012

 

 

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EMEX, LLC TO CONDUCT A

REVERSE AUCTION FOR ELECTRICTY FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDFORD

 

 

 

WHEREAS, EMEX, LLC, a State of New Jersey approved vendor for purchase of energy generation services, has proposed to conduct a reverse auction for electricity for the Township of Medford, and;

 

WHEREAS, there is no fee charged to the Township of Medford by EMEX, LLC for the services associated with the reverse auction, and;

 

WHERAS, EMEX, LLC is paid by the successful bidder for electricity for the Township of Medford, and;

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Medford, in the County of Burlington and State of New Jersey, that they do hereby authorize EMEX, LLC to conduct the reverse auction, and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that at the next available meeting following the reverse auction, upon recommendation, review and approval a contract may be awarded maybe awarded if the successful bid demonstrates electricity cost savings to the Township.

 

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Medford, at a meeting held on the 26th day of April, 2012.
