BLOCK 1815.02, LOT 6
WHEREAS,
the Township of Medford, County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, temporarily
suspended the acceptance of sewer connection permit applications while
reserving a number of permits for public emergency and/or hardship purposes
(hereinafter "hardship sewer connection permits"); and
WHEREAS,
the Township has previously, by resolution, at public meetings, authorized the
sale of hardship sewer connection permits; and
WHEREAS,
the Township Code of the Township of Medford, Chapter 121-4(H)(1)(i)[6] and [9] establishes the criteria for consideration of
hardship sewer requests; and
WHEREAS,
hardship requests for permits have been made by individuals/entities and
developers; and
WHEREAS,
the Township Council has considered the criteria contained in Chapter
121-4H(1)(i)[6] and [9] in authorizing the sale of
said permits; and
WHEREAS,
a request for one (1) hardship sewer connection permit, submitted on behalf of Michael
W. Robinson, PE for property located at Bank Street (Block 1815.02, Lot 6) has
been considered by Council in accordance with Medford Township Code Chapter
121-4(H)(1)(i)[6] and [9]; and
WHEREAS, the Township Council has determined that the above-referenced request has met the aforementioned requirements and it is not feasible to install an on-site septic system due to the lot size of 0.17 acres, soil restrictions and Pinelands Commission requirements.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by
the Township Council of the Township of Medford that Michael W. Robinson, PE be
and is hereby authorized to purchase one (1) sewer permit, for Block 1815.02,
Lot 6, upon completion of a sewer connection permit application and compliance
with local ordinance. Payment for the
permit must be made within 60 days from the date of adoption of this
resolution.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Michael W. Robinson, PE shall be responsible for
all costs associated with the sewer connection, and must submit plans and
specifications for the connection as part of the conformance review for final
approval.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that these conditions are material terms of the
authorization to purchase.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this authorizing Resolution does not expressly or
impliedly grant the property owner the right to tie into the Township sewer
system, unless and until all other necessary approvals, including compliance
with Township Engineer requirements, are secured.
