RESOLUTION 2-2012

 

ESTABLISHING MEETING DATES - 2012

 

            WHEREAS, pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, Section 13, Township Council may establish its regular meeting dates, on an annual basis, and publish same;

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Medford that the regular meetings of the Township Council shall be held on the first and third Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted, at 7:30 p.m., prevailing time, at the Public Safety Building, Medford, 91 Union Street, Medford, New Jersey, or at various locations within the Township of Medford, as established by the Township Council and with proper advance notice of said location.

 

            BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the scheduled meeting dates of the Medford Township Council for 2012 are as follows:

 

                        Tuesday      -    January 3               (Reorganization)

Tuesday     -     January 17                      

Tuesday     -     February 7          and      February 21;

Tuesday     -     March 6              and      March 20;

Tuesday     -     April 3                and      April 17;

Tuesday     -     May 1                 and      May 15;

Tuesday     -     June 5                 and      June 19;

Tuesday     -     July 17;

Tuesday     -     August 21;

Tuesday     -     September 4        and        September 18;

Tuesday     -     October 2            and        October 16;

Tuesday     -     November 6         and         November 20;

Tuesday     -     December 4         and         December 18;

 

           BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-13 the Township may conduct closed or executive sessions on the meeting dates stated above, to discuss any matter described in N.J.S.A. 10:4-12b. A Resolution shall be adopted prior to commencement of the closed or executive session complying with N.J.S.A. 10: 4-13.

 

            BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that pursuant to said Section 13, of the Open Public Meetings Act, a copy of this Resolution shall be: (a) posted on the bulletin board at 17 North Main Street, the Township Offices; (b) mailed to the Burlington County Times, and/or The Central Record; and (c) filed in the Office of the Township Clerk, and shall serve as the annual notice of all said meetings.

 

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Medford, at a meeting on the 3rd day of January, 2012.
