ORDINANCE 2010-2

 

AMENDING CHAPTER 410B

OF THE MEDFORD TOWNSHIP LAND

DEVELOPMENT CODE ENTITLED

“HIGHWAY MANAGEMENT ZONE”

 

 

            BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by the Township Council of the Township of Medford in the County of Burlington and State of New Jersey as follows:

 

SECTION 1: A.  Chapter 410B.E pertaining to “Intensity, Area and Yard Requirements” is amended to increase the Maximum Floor Area Ratio and Lot Coverage as follows: 

 

                                    Maximum

                                    Floor Area                   .25 (shared drive see Note 5)

                                    Lot Coverage               .65

 

                        B.     Note 5 of Chapter 410B.E is amended as follows: 

 

[5]  In those instances where two (2) adjacent property owners cooperate to share a common access driveway serving both properties and in so doing avoid and/or eliminate one or more access points onto the adjoining street(s), then the floor area ratio may be increased to 0.275.  

 

SECTION 2.   All Ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency

 

SECTION 3:  This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon final passage and publication according to law and the filing of same with the County Planning Board in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55d-16.
