RESOLUTION 83-2010

 

AUTHORIZING THE CANCELLATION OF CERTAIN GRANT FUND

RECEIVABLE BALANCES AND RESERVE BALANCES

 

                        WHEREAS, the Township of  Medford  participated  in various  grant projects funded through an estimated  “cost-share” grant  reimbursement program based on an approximate scope of service; and

 

            WHEREAS, the completion of certain grant projects resulted in a decrease of the projected program costs creating open balances; and

 

            WHEREAS, there currently exists on the Grant Fund Balance Sheet certain receivables and reserve balances including the local cost-share; and

   

            WHEREAS, it is necessary to formally cancel the following receivables and the offsetting appropriations and appropriation reserve balances from the Grant Fund Balance Sheet:

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Medford that the above referenced amount(s) be canceled for reasons set forth and the Chief Financial Officer is authorized to remove same from records.

 

                I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Medford at a meeting held on the 9th day of March, 2010.
