2010 Census lags behind in Dear Mayor: The 2010 Census forms are in the mail! Please
remind your residents it's not too late to mail the Census forms back. More
than $400 billion in federal funding every year for the next 10 years is at
stake. Funding for schools, health care, housing, transportation, and more.
Many residents have not yet mailed back their forms. Make sure your
community receives its fair share! Encourage your residents to fill out their
census form and mail it back today! Your community is counting on you! Please consider posting the message above
on your municipal web site. If you have an email list for residents, consider
sending them an email to stress the importance of returning their Census
form. You can even use your reverse 9-1-1 system to send them a voice
